January 5, 2018 We said goodbye to our Queen, Fiesta, after finding her in the morning suffering terribly from colic. Fiesta was our Masterpiece, the icon of the farm, and caretaker of all. The farm will never be the same without her, she was born here on May 10, 1996, and lived her 21 1/2 years safe and loved the whole time. She joins our big barn family in Heaven, Twin Maples Farm North. It will be quite the day when we can all be together again.
Twin Maples Farm Horsemastership Program
This program has been in the works for a while. The inspiration behind it has been the awareness of the need to teach ALL the basics of horsemanship, stable management and riding. Teaching riding as well as teaching students how to train horses is a big part of this program. Trainer/Instructor Suzy Huizenga has 50 yrs of experience riding and working with horses, and over 35 years teaching and training professionally. We are very excited to share this wealth of knowledge and develop many more excellent riders and compassionate, knowledgeable horsemen. See the new Horsemastership page!
Giselle one year later!

August 22, 2014 An unexpected foal was born to a mare belonging to a good friend. She was gifted to us, just in time to heal our hearts after losing Amber .
We welcome Giselle, an extraordinary Dutch Warmblood filly. Lexi will have a friend to play with!

After a 5 day battle with colic, we said a heartbreaking good bye to our beautiful Amber. No words can describe the loss we feel. We were blessed to have her and she will always be remembered. Rest in Paradise beautiful girl.
